We came to the conclusion that rats were eating his plumbing pipes. We work closely with a pest management company and they came out and got rid of the rats. Turns out that rats really like something in plastic pipe that they really like.
The Client’s Problem
This homeowner called us out because they had a plumbing leak under their home. We went out there and fixed the leak in pex pipe. A couple days later he called again with another leak. In turn we went a fixed leaks 4 times at his home
The Result
Although this homeowner didnt get a repipe there are options other than pex pipe. New high quality copper pipes can be installed with compression type fittings so the old risk of soldering in a home is not used anymore. This provides a lot of security if you live an area with a known rat issue
